Why I Built This App
My name is Matthew Paquette. When a loved one was diagnosed with Bulbar Onset ALS, they quickly lost their ability to speak. We searched everywhere for apps to help them communicate, but each had critical flaws. They required internet, had poor voice quality, were overly complex, or showed ads.
I built this app to solve those problems. Using Apple's premium built-in voices, it works completely offline with studio quality audio (using the built in voices in iOS and macOS). No internet needed, no ads, just clear communication.
Today, they use it for 100% of their communication and take it everywhere they go. If you or someone you know can still type but has difficulty speaking, this app was made for you.
